Shelley and Tod ForbisShelley Forbis

Hi, I’m Shelley Forbis.  I am very excited about what the Infinite Banking Concept can potentially mean for my family and for anyone who is tired of the financial “rat race”.  In the summer of 2015, my husband, Tod, and I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Bay and his amazing wife Shawn at a mutual friend’s business establishment, where Chris introduced us to the Infinite Banking Concept.  Hearing just some highlights about IBC, we became cautiously interested in learning more.  Several meetings followed in the next year and a half as we continued to ask Chris questions and ponder the possibilities.  We also gained valuable insights from attending Life Success and Legacy boot camps, along with reading the materials that the team suggested.

As we began to dig, we started identifying how some of the conventional ways of thinking had kept us from reaching our financial goals.  One of the most revolutionary truths for me to learn was the idea that cash must ‘flow’ in order for it to work FOR YOU!  Letting it just sit, as the financial “experts” advise, really just keeps it in one state – stagnate and at risk!  In December 2016, we made the decision to start our first policy.

Having been raised in a very poor home, I grew into adulthood with a looming fear of money, or the lack thereof.  Early in adulthood and starting a new family, I risked passing that fear and lack along to my children.  Tod and I have always worked very hard to earn a living, but no matter how hard we worked, the best we could do was just live paycheck to paycheck. And the older we got, the farther away we seemed to be from our dreams.  We see things very differently now, and we feel more empowered than ever about our financial future.

Tod and I have been married over 27 years.  We have two amazing adult children, Logan and Ashley. Part of our legacy dream is to share with them what we have already learned and will continue to learn about financial freedom.

It is my passion to help others realize truths that can enrich their lives. Turning fear into hope is my vision and wish for anyone who feels as if her current situation is as good as it’s ever going to get.  I have worked many years in the field of customer service, managing an amazing team for the past ten plus years.  I left that job in February 2017 to pursue a more fulfilling path, which I have been blessed to find at Life Success & Legacy as their client coordinator. It is my honor to serve this community, and I look forward to getting to know you!
